<p><img class="aligncenter wp-image-5583" src="https://rockthepigeon.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/11-12-18-mr-lisp.jpg" alt="11 12 18 Mr Lisp.jpg" width="438" height="438" />Mr. Lisp&#8217;s &#8216;Get Our Minds Right&#8217; is straightforward, melodic skate punk with a grungy Californian flair. These guys describe themselves as, &#8220;a four piece punk band from Philadelphia, PA. The band formed in early 2017.&#8221; The group brings a lot to the table. On the one hand, there&#8217;s a deep, palatable familiarity to their sound. But under that, there&#8217;s a level of restraint these guys practice, which in conjunction to an acute attention to detail, allows them to form a unique approach to a well-treaded genre. Obviously, lines can be drawn between these guys and groups like NOFX and RKL, but at the same time it feels like they&#8217;re also taking cues from less traditional acts like Leftover Crack.
