The band says the song &#8220;is dedicated to survivors of sexual assault. It features the voices of Anita Hill, Christine Blasey Ford, and activists Ana Maria Archila and Maria Gallagher, who became famous during the Brett Kavanaugh judiciary hearings for confronting Republican senator Jeff Flake in an elevator.&#8221; Lyrically and thematically, the song clearly speaks for itself. The use of spoken-word samples really roots the song within the context of current events with a power, introspection and permanence rarely seen in this day and age. Unlike a lot of traditional protest music, this has a deep sense of intentionality. That helps to further the piece&#8217;s impact. On the musical side, this is a sweeping, expansive track. Like Midwestern prog rock godfather Geddy Lee, front woman Donna Diane plays the guitar up top and uses her feet to play bass lines on a Moog synthesizer &#8211; a truly impressive feat.
