Kash Juliano’s ‘Speeding’ Is a Poppy Brooklyn Take on Trap

Kash Juliano’s ‘Speeding’ is a clean, poppy take on the trap sound out of Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn. This artist describes himself as, “a product of his neighborhood.” Since starting his career, “Kash Juliano has compiled a body of work certain to shake any doubt of his creative talent,” including three full-length albums available on Soundcloud. In a lot of ways, this hangs pretty closely to the orthodoxies of modern trap music. In spite of that, the vocal performance on here is compelling and the beat is strong. Through all the auto-tune, we get an honest, concise look into this rapper’s mind through the flowery haze of his sing-talk delivery. Under that, the beat gives the piece the structure and groove necessary to make the track hit in a meaningful way. This is a nice track from a talented artist. Check out ‘Speeding’ below!
