<p class="wp-block-paragraph">&#8216;Left Out in the Sun&#8217; by First Round&#8217;s on Me is a prescient, groovy alternative rock track. These guys describe themselves as an &#8220;alternative/garage rock band in Chicago,&#8221; made up of &#8220;members influenced by classic rock, thrash metal, indie rock, blues and just about anything in between.&#8221; This, the band says, &#8220;is a personal song about struggling with working too much and finding time to enjoy the good times while they last.&#8221; Focusing on &#8220;two central characters, the song tells a story of anger and sadness with one&#8217;s situation and using music as an outlet to vent one&#8217;s frustrations.&#8221; These guys cover a lot of ground on this track. The vocals and guitar work are both impressive, but it seems like in a lot of ways the bassist carries this group. It&#8217;s always nice to hear complex, mellow bass lines driving a more traditional rock track. Check out &#8216;Left Out in the Sun&#8217; below!<br></p>
