The Ritualists are an NYC based post-punk glam band with some psychedelic new wave flare. Their biggest influences include Bowie, T. Rex, Suede, the Velvet Underground, and other similar artists. They have long been popular in the New York City underground scene, but are gaining some more mainstream traction since grabbing the attention of record label, Out of Line Music. Since signing with the label, they have been working tirelessly in the studio to bring to life their debut album, “Painted People”.
