<p>Anthony Da Costa is an artist that I have been following for a long time. My first tour manager introduced me to his music while were on the road, driving across America, in early 2014. My first favorite song from Da Costa was from his 2012 record <em>Secret Handshake:</em> &#8220;Nothing Will Bring This Down.&#8221; His music served as the perfect soundtrack to our cross-country adventure. That sound of adventure, rolling wheels, and Americana-vibes are still heard in his music. His latest song is called &#8220;Feet on the Dashboard&#8221; and the lyrics speak of romance, that feeling of going completely all out for someone else. The lyrics of the song revolve around metaphors of driving as the music builds from a folk ballad to an indie rock song. Anthony Da Costa sings about leaving New York as well and bringing his love with him. The music has a melancholy feel to it but becomes very anthemic sounding by the end. You can feel the true passion that this artists feels through his impressive vocal delivery.</p>
