Pride Feature: River Gallo Makes History in Badoo Global Advertisement

River Gallo is an actor and director, known for the short film Ponyboi (2019). I was introduced to River at Los Angeles’ queer film festival Outfest, where I saw the brilliant film Ponyboi. River Gallo is not only a great actor and director but also is an incredible poet and artist.

Watch the flawless Badoo Global ad that they self-directed and perform their original poem in! The advertisement is beautifully shot and the poem and choreography had me captivated from start to finish. This advertisement is also legendary and historic because River Gallo is the first intersex person to be the star of an ad campaign. Happy Pride! You can find Ponyboi below as well!
