
<p class="wp-block-paragraph">If you&#8217;re into The Strokes and love the sound of the piano then you definitely will want to listen to Brett Newski&#8217;s cover of &#8220;Someday.&#8221; The lo-fi production style of the recording brings more emotion to the lyrics. The song sounds more heartbreaking in this mellow take. The best type of cover songs are the ones where they are so drastically different than the original. Fans want to hear something that is different or they will just listen to the original. Brett Newski did a great job at making this hit Strokes song into something different. I personally would have never imaged a piano cover of this high speed punk anthem. It feels just right though. The line <em>&#8220;Darling, your heads not right&#8221;</em> line hits so much harder. </p>
