
<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Eddie The Kidd released a dreamy synth pop remix of his single “This Isn’t Love” with the emotional additions of Kisos &; NICK WHITE, and it was love at first listen.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The song opens with Eddie’s warm and soft vocals leading the first verse. Then, we’re blessed with Nick’s crispy clear vocals singing the pre-chorus. I can’t help but sing this part out loud EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. The catchy chorus stacks Eddie, Kisos, and Nick’s vocals that match the high energy synth pop instrumental This hook <em>always leaves me with chills inside</em>.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The second verse introduces an emotional vocal delivery from Kisos, with vocal nuances that are quite unforgettable. We can feel the spiritual connection to the lyrics in his voice, making it almost feel like <em>we’re right there in the room with him as he serenades us</em>. This part of the song feels very special and personal due to the soul-stirring vocal delivery.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The bridge is one of my favorites parts of the entire song. Nick delivers us a slow build up with lower vocal tones to higher notes, leading to a high energy transition back into the final chorus. Through and through, <em>this song feels like a party in my bedroom</em>, and I honestly hope I get to see it live one day with Eddie, Kisos, and Nick.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Describe your release in 3 sentences.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Eddie: This release is iconic. This release is empowering. This release is the moment.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Nick: Top 2 and not number 2. It’s like you’re driving down Sunset Blvd with the windows down and a gigantic smile on your face. Would definitely recommend.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Kisos: A skwirt fiesta with your oldest friends. Everyone gossiping about their messy moments without shame. And there’s a cotton candy machine!</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">What was your favorite part about making this song?</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Eddie: my favorite part was hearing both Nick and Kisos bring their own artistic flavors to the song. I knew they were going to KILL IT so to hear them bring my vision to fruition was definitely super cool.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Nick: The night I was cutting vocals I stayed in close contact with Eddie and sent him individual takes as they were recorded, getting real time feedback and creating somewhat of a workable studio experience as if we were both there in person.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Kisos: I always bring an ad lib diva, so weaving my little ideas in with what Nick and Eddie had already laid down was so cute. Plus our lil group call meetings where we talked about the iconic live mega mix from the Stand Up charity concert 2008.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">What was the hardest part making this song?</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Eddie: I think the hardest part was the arrangement! Making sure everyone got their own time to shine and equally have enough time to really bring their own twist to the song without it sounding too ‘We Are The World’! Haha</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Nick: The digital release show aka “This Isn’t Love Fest” has been a lot of work but it will be worth it in the end and I’m in awe of the performers so stay tuned for that!!</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Kisos: honestly just finding the time to do it!! I was so excited to be a part but ya girl gets stressed really easily juggling so many things. But Eddie and nick are always patient and encouraging so it helps a lot!</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Was this release cathartic for you?</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Eddie: I think every song I’ve released or written is cathartic. Regardless of where I was when I wrote it, each piece I release has a special connection to me and has helped me cope through different stages I’ve gone through in life.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Nick: All music is cathartic for me but more so this release was a coming together of so many beautiful elements and a continuation of our collective musical universe.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Kisos: what nick said!! It was just such a cool special memory to make a song truly for fun with some of my loveliest friends. I loved the song so much already so getting to be a part of it even after Lunar Tide was really cute.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">What keeps you motivated?</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Eddie: the community and friendships I’ve made along the way. Seeing my friends passionately chase the same dream as me pushes me to want to create and lead with my best foot forward.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Nick: The community and my love for music</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Kisos: My therapist, not even kidding lol she helps me cut the dookie out and love it again. And that always lets me appreciate all the amazing people supporting me instead of being focused on how far I still have to go!</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">What can we expect next from you?</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Eddie: I’m currently wrapping up my album which will be out this year, so I’ve been going through the songs and choosing what the next single should be. There’s still some work left like getting visuals and looking into filming my very first music video but I can’t wait to share this project which has been 2 1/2 years in the making!</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Nick: A new comic panel featuring the 3 of us is just around the corner!!</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Kisos: I’m always live-streaming on Twitch making music! But other than that I have more collabs and originals queued up over the next many months!!</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Eddie: A L O T of Gregory Dillon and MOISTBREEZY! I’ve also been diving back into Neon Trees’ discography. Super nostalgic for me!</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Nick: SAILEM has been killing the game with their digital performances and David Guetta with his United at Home fundraisers too, also loving new music from Charlie Fisher and Zee Machine.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Kisos: A ton of Pinky and Clementine on repeat! Also a lot of my boo TASCH, the new E Alvin &; Zach Benson collab, and of course Jazmine Sullivan my absolute fave.</p>
