The trans community mourns Nex, a 16-year-old non binary student who was killed by violence in a school bathroom in Oklahoma.
The increase in anti-trans hate and violence is directly correlated to the rise in anti-trans legislation and the hateful rhetoric of conservative media and politicians.
Nex loved cooking, nature, their cat Zeus, The Walking Dead, and Minecraft. They were a straight-A, 10th grade student.
Please elevate and repost Nex’s story, as it has received no attention by mainstream media.
