Frida and The Mann come out swinging with “I Can Breathe Again,” an upbeat alt-rock track that is equal parts danceable and emotionally loaded. Beautiful electric guitars ring out with a classic rock energy while a middle tone bass cuts right through the speakers with confidence. The vocals are grungy, fun, and just a little sultry, giving the song a personality that pulls you in from the very first note. The lyric “It doesn’t feel so bad to be myself when you’re not here” lands like a gut punch in the best possible way, capturing that specific feeling of liberation after a toxic relationship with total clarity. This is a track that brings out a lot of emotions all at once and somehow makes all of them feel good. Frida and The Mann are doing something really exciting here and this song is proof.
