<p>&#8216;In Your Hometown&#8217; by Kluster is an unconventional, erratic take on indie pop. These Swedes hail from Malmo on the country&#8217;s southern coast. Maybe this is why they sound so warm and welcoming without giving up their distinct Nordic character. The fuzzy staccato synths that open up the tune blend well Linnea Hall&#8217;s soulful lyrics. The guitar work here, especially the brief solos toward the middle, hint at this band&#8217;s broader compositional abilities. These guys have an ear for satisfyingly unconventional noise.
