Bottled Up’s ‘Perfect Place’ Is Some Intense, Anxious Indie Rock

5 8 18 Bottled Up‘Perfect Place’ by Bottled Up is some dense, artsy indie rock. The band describes the track as, “about the journey out of the bad things and places in life and to the good beautiful place you can’t even believe. It’s also about what you have to give up along the way.” The fast, crunchy guitars mesh perfectly with the post-punk groove the drummer puts down. On top of everything, the vocals are really on point. Clearly, The Strokes were a big influence here, but it also seems like the band has an affinity for classic rock and artsier bands like The Yeah Yeah Yeahs or The Talking Heads. These guys are real up-and-comers. Check out ‘Perfect Place’ below!
