Charmless I’s ‘Fire Up (Here We Go)’ Is Fun, Engaging Indie Rock

5 22 18 Charmless I.jpgCharmless I’s ‘Fire Up (Here We Go)’ is fun, straightforward garage-influenced indie rock. This “new rock project of Dutch singer-songwriter Alex Pasveer,” is meant to, “fire up and start your day.” Pasveer, “the former frontman and creative soul of the rock band Steed… has a broad spectrum of influences from New Order to Blur.” He describes his new project as, “contagious rock hymns, hypnotic electropop elements with synth-bass and layered vocals brought with Dutch sobriety.” The simple nature of this track makes it really engaging. Especially the chorus. It’s hard to get that line out of your head. Clearly, this is a seasoned group of musicians, so there’s no reason to expect anything but the best from them. You’ll probably be hearing more form these guys soon. Check out ‘Fire Up (Here We Go)’ below!
