Fish House’s ‘Climber’ Is Groovy, Jazzy Dream Pop

6 18 18 Fish House.jpegFish House’s ‘Climber’ is groovy, jazzy dream pop. This track from the “debut EP, Burns From the Rope… chronicles an unrequited love in which the narrator can’t quite reach the tip of the mountain. Emotionally charged, yet nonchalant in their delivery, Fish House is here to help you dance the pain away.” Something about these guys sounds a lot like the math rock band Delta Sleep. Obviously, these guys are far from mathy, but their distinct groove and slick understated vocal approach is emblematic of a broader, more diverse alt-rock heritage than this kind of music usually displays. This is a quality composition and the top-notch production on here backs that up. These guys are true up-and-comers. Check out ‘Climber’ below!
