Lovehoney’s ‘Open Door’ is balls to the wall lo-fi hard rock. “We miss the days when rock musicians were a little more mysterious,” they say, “and one of the fun things about Lovehoney is they are real people that don’t take life too seriously.” These guys certainly have an unpretentious vibe that blends well with their retro approach to song-writing and recording. The riffage on here is intense. That’s backed by a quality rhythm section. On top of everything, some soulfully vocals solidify the track’s character. These guys have a lot to offer.
