Saba Abraha’s ‘Do’s and Dont’s’ Is Eclectic, Wintry Indie Pop

6 20 18 Saba AbrahaSaba Abraha’s ‘Do’s and Dont’s’ is some eclectic, janky indie pop. This “Ethiopian songstress… has laid the groundwork for her new single Do’s & Dont’s,'” she says, “with the buzz-worthy attention she has received for her recent track, ‘Pathway.’ Saba continues to get us excited for the release of her forthcoming EP with her sultry, cool, and r&b-tinged sound.” The whirring synths and chopped up vocalizations that make up this tune are really compelling. There’s something distinctly wintry and mechanical about this – especially the backing track. At the same time, Abraha doesn’t sacrifice warmth in her vocal performance. This is definitely worth a listen. Check out ‘Do’s and Dont’s’ below!
