The band describes itself as, &#8220;a collaboration fronted by Nick Perlman on lead vocals and guitar, Andy Porta on drums and Seth Nicholson on bass with everyone lending their vocal talents.&#8221; As a function of the &#8220;wide range of musical influences&#8230; everyone has something unique to bring to the table,&#8221; they say. &#8220;Nick&#8217;s minimalist, almost meditative fingerpicking work, and emotive vocals juxtapose Seth&#8217;s active, gospel-inspired, bass playing and harmonizing, and Andy&#8217;s prog rock-influenced percussion ties it all together with movement and dynamism.&#8221; Clearly, these guys know what they&#8217;re doing when it comes to composition. They&#8217;re unafraid of using negative space to further their musical endeavor and have the emotional power to back that kind of an approach. These guys really know what they&#8217;re doing.
