‘Waiting on You’ by The Trust Fund Kids is nice, spacey alt rock with a grungy flair. The opening riff on here, which carries through the whole song in different forms, is a good one. Behind that, there’s a competent, well-practiced rhythm section. The drums are complex enough to be engaging, but not so complex that they bust out of the mix in an unpleasant way. The bass, while a little quiet, is nice. Especially in regard to tone. Speaking of tone, the guitar tone on here is really well done too. The vocals work perfectly with the little electronic flourishes the band has worked in on here. All in all, this is just really well done. These guys have a lot to offer.
