Spunk’s ‘Fast Dad’ is fast, unforgiving rock music with a hyper-rhythmic approach. Although the group has put out several DIY releases, their upcoming album, S.S.O.S., will be their first studio production. These guys do a solid job of fusing a rhythmic take on hard rock deeply influenced by nu metal with a hardcore punk sensibility. In a lot of ways, these guys sound like Static X or Limp Bizkit’s first release Three Dollar Bill Y’all. There’s an undeniable, pulsing energy this group brings to the table that’s hard not to get excited about. These guys know what they’re doing. Check out ‘Fast Dad’ below!
