Galactic, based in New Orleans, have been working on the soulful song “Can’t You Believe” for the past year. The jazz-funk song features authentic vocals from The Houseman and instrumentation that will get just about anyone grooving. The song features a thick bass, sailing guitars, and a horn section that funks it up. The song is made complete with a strong hook melody consisting of both vocals and horns. The band has decided to release the fierce single to raise money to pay for the funeral of their original lead singer, the legendary Theryl “The Houseman” DeClouet. The band has already had success with other songs such as “Into The Deep” featuring Macy Gray and “Church” and have been in existence since 1994. Galactic is known for fusing funk and jazz together in unique and interesting way.
