Ritual Talk’s ‘Reminders’ Is Upbeat Pop Rock with a Fast, Jazzy Approach

9 27 18 Ritual TalkRitual Talk’s ‘Reminders’ is upbeat pop rock with a fast, jazzy approach. The band describes the song as featuring, “interlocking guitar parts, bouncy synth bass, spurts of vocal harmonies and even a trumpet solo.” This secondary single from the group’s debut LP and “live favorite comes out September 27th via the band’s own Sonosoma Records.” The intense, impressive guitar work on here really takes the lead in a lot of regards, but this is a fully-developed track. The rhythm section, featuring a warm, gelatinous bass line and popping emotive drums, helps to ground the piece. The vocals on here are also really tasteful. They have a funky throwback vibe that gives the song an extra kick of character. This is a superbly-crafted song from a talented group of musicians. Check out ‘Reminders’ below!
