Phantoms Reconnect with Childhood Friend Vanessa Hudgens then Collab on Dance Hit

“It was a cool way to reconnect since the last time we all hung out we were around 16 years old.”

The Los Angeles based duo Phantoms collaborated on a new dance track with the soulful singer/actress Vanessa Hudgens titled “Lay With Me.” Vinnie Pergola and Kyle Kaplan of Phantoms were able to create this song with Vanessa after recently reconnecting with her at an airport. The trio had not seen each other since they were 16 years old and when they randomly ran into each other they promised to make some fresh music together. They did just that! Their natural chemistry created a feel-good dance song that transmits pure magic through the listeners speakers. The melodies of “Lay With Me” are catchy and top radio quality. We would not be surprised if this song suddenly took off to become a chart topper because it has everything is takes…a desirable sound, universal lyrics, and a hooky chorus that is undeniably contagious.

“We grew up with Vanessa then weirdly ran into her at the airport last year and talked about working on music at some point. Then a few months later we got in the studio and recorded this song. It was a cool way to reconnect since the last time we all hung out we were around 16 years old. So happy this song is finally out, it’s one of our favorites.”

“I’m so excited for this song and music video. I loved being in the studio again working with phantoms. Crazy we reconnected all these years later and got to create something we’re all very proud of.”
