‘Outlier’ by The Doug Berns Band is rich, intense alternative-oriented hard rock with a dynamic, progressive approach. This “power trio from Brooklyn… creates alternative rock music with a metallic sheen.” Their debut album Outlier came out out this month. These guys bring a cool, clean approach to the sounds of years past. There’s a clear sense of dramatic value on here that gives way to kind of a cinematic sentiment, but the band is far from sappy. This hits hard, but at the same time it maintains an imperative of accessibility. This is a cool track from a talented project. Check out ‘Outlier’ below!
