Trapdoor Social has a sound that stands out from the rest of the SoCal Indie Rock bands in the sense that it’s unexpected at times and fierce. The young band captures the hearts of listeners with their catchy new song “Hold Me Down.” The intricate verse melody of the song is melodically brilliant and shifts into a chorus that energizes the listeners entire body. It’s impossible to not feel the good vibes that will make you want to sway and scream the song at the top of your lungs. The transition from verse to chorus may be unexpected but comes off as smooth as if Trapdoor Social has been playing together for decades. To top off an already incredible track, “Hold Me Down” has an even catchier bridge section and a riffing guitar that adds the rock n’ roll into the bands big sound. We are keeping an eye on Trapdoor Social so we can watch them rise!
