Doov’s ‘Target’ is clean, melodic rap with a smooth, brisk pace. This artist describes himself as a, “twenty-year-old rapper and producer from East Brunswick, New Jersey.” He says his “music reflects influences of all kinds — from Jersey club, to afro beat to soul — while always embodying classic hip-hop and his own unique style.” This really hits in a meaningful way, but there’s a sense of cleanliness and airiness on here that gives the track a kind of pillowy appeal. From a technical perspective, this is very strong – both in terms of vocal delivery and production techniques. They way the slick, rapid-fire approach to rapping meshes with the ethereal, spread-out beat is on point. This is a strong track from a talented artist. Check out ‘Target’ below!
