<p><img class=" wp-image-5815 aligncenter" src="https://rockthepigeon.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/12-7-18-make.jpeg" alt="12 7 18 Make" width="433" height="433" />Make&#8217;s &#8216;Vomit&#8217; is a crunchy, expansive take on different punk rock traditions out of Norway. These guys summarize themselves as simply, &#8220;OSLO MUSIC.&#8221; They describe this tune as, &#8220;about self-destructive behavior and feelings, as well as destructive choices made by our government.&#8221; There&#8217;s a charming simplicity to this track. The lazy, bucolic guitars whirr away under a deeply expressionistic rhythm section and a vocal performance that&#8217;s really given the space to define the track. I wouldn&#8217;t go so far as to call this rap, or really anything like it, but the approach these guys take to song-writing feels imbued with a hip-hop sensibility. It almost seems like the different elements function as a series of disunited samples brought together as a poignant backdrop for the lead singer&#8217;s ramblings.
