Brother Plainview’s ‘Lost On Us’ Is Clean, Resonant Alt Rock From Hong Kong

12 12 18 Brother Plainview.jpegBrother Plainview’s ‘Lost On Us’ is some clean, hot alternative rock from the island city of Hong Kong. “With members from Canada, the UK and from Hong Kong,” these guys say they bring a broad array of influences to “their new EP, which was recorded during the summer in an industrial building in Hong Kong.” They describe this track as, “about appreciating the good times you have.” There’s deep sense of emotional resonance on this track. The listener really gets a clear understanding of how meaningful the lyrical content is to this frontman. At the same time, the production on here is top-notch. Especially that slick, punchy bass tone. The track has a very pristine sound, but at the same time there’s are strong undertones of grit and anxiety which really round out the listening experience. This is a strong track from a cool group. Check out ‘Lost On Us’ below!
