Morgxn Releases Stripped Down EP & Is Currently on Tour!

Morgxn has recently released a stripped down EP titled “vital : blue.” The EP was recorded at the legendary Village Studios in Los Angeles. The song “blue” features the singer Nicholas Petricca. The song is pretty in both instrumentation and vocals, transmitting and intense amount of raw emotion directly to the listeners ears. The softly sung vocals come across as depressing and full of soul. The talented songwriter morgxn explains “the color blue is often associated with sadness. or water. to me, the color blue is about communication and expression. it is also the title of my new song – and the collaboration that started it all – with Nicholas. as i wrap the vital chapter, it felt appropriate to strip it back. and show some of the songs in this way. i don’t believe it more true. but i do believe it is more blue.” The stripped back nature of the song, featuring piano, strings, and vocal, is perfectly fitting in terms of production. The songwriting is very beautiful and stands well enough on it’s own. The track definitely doesn’t need to be overly produced to be a standout! “Blue” is a true banger of a piano driven pop ballad. You’ll want to spin this one again and again…

Enjoy it on Spotify now, along with over half a million monthly listeners:
