SoCal Punk Band Mellow Cherries Start Out the Decade Right With the Release of Their New Single “Elevator Toons”

The Mellow Cherries are a rad new SoCal garage punk band based out of Ventura, CA. They are a fresh young band with some serious potential for taking their dirty punk sound to the next level. Check out their first single, “Elevator Toons” recorded and mixed with RockCity Studios.

Band members include: Ian Wiebelhaus (rhythm guitar/vocals), Michael Gonzales (lead guitar), Carter Hill (keyboard), Michael Espinoza (bass), and Vinny Addieg (drums)

I had the pleasure of meeting and talking with Mellow Cherries drummer, Vinny Addieg, at NAMM last weekend. He’s a very positive and chill dude and his passion for music radiates out of him. He definitely has the drive to take this band to new heights in 2020. Mellow Cherries have plans to release an EP with two original songs in the near future so stay tuned!
