“Oh My My” is the first single off of the bands upcoming tenth studio album, This Is What I Live For, planned to be released September 2020.
Having formed in 1995, Blue October has been able to evolve and expand on their sound. Many remember their hits like “Hate Me” and “Into the Ocean” from over a decade ago, and “Oh My My” just reinforces how strong and remarkable Blue October continues to be.
“Oh My My” starts off with a short rhythmic melody, followed by Frontman Justin Furstenfeld’s iconic vocals. His vocals in the verses are slightly separated between bars and delivered evenly on the beat. The catchy rhythm and pace sets up the song for the passionate chorus. “Oh My My” has an inspiring tone, uplifting vocals, and an energizing beat and melody that is bound to be invigorating.
