“Red Flags” begins with a continuous piano melody being played to the beat. The vocals come in shortly after and astound with their strong and confident tone. The lyrics of “Red Flags” allude to the process of seeing the red flags or other tell-tale signs and giving in instead of seeing the warning signs. Throughout “Red Flags” L. Marie Cook tells herself she keeps going after the same man, as if telling herself that it’s not a good idea but she’s unable to stop. This song has quite the catchy melody and is led by well-shaped vocals.
