Wilderfire Conjures Sorrow On ‘Black Helicopters’

I’m a sucker for a slow burn- especially one that simmers out within 3 minutes- and Black Helicopters brings the goods. Opening with a delightful synth and somber vocal delivery, Donnie Stemp communicates his abiding sorrow with assured clarity.

Given life by Grammy-winning producer Amy Aileen Wood (Fiona Apple, Fetch the Bolt Cutters), the first single from the upcoming EP sets the stage for a pensive fragility that is the mark of Wilderfire.

Check out the deceptively warm and folksy ‘Black Helicopters’ below.
