<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Emma Dejavu teams up with metal band Suicide For A King to remake Aqua&#8217;s notoriously popular hit song &#8220;Party Girl,&#8221; and delivers a stunning music to go along with it! </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The cover is a phenomenal metal rendition of the song, with Suicide For A King producing and rocking out the instrumental from start to finish. Emma&#8217;s vocal delivery adds the perfect campy touch to this rock and roll rendition, making it so much more fun to dance and party to! The music video brings the party right to your phone screen or TV, with Emma partying with the band at a pool party. The video is full of stunning looks and moments that made me laugh out loud, <em>like the beginning where Emma is in a Barbie box laid out on the band&#8217;s front door. </em>This video is surely one you won&#8217;t want to miss out on! </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>What inspired you to make this song and music video?</strong></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><em>I wanted to create something special for Montreal pride after this chaotic year!</em></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>What was your favorite part about making this?</strong></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><em>Mixing the unexpected. Reunite a drag queen and a metal band! Sounds like the beginning of a bad joke!</em></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>What was the hardest part?</strong></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><em>The singing! It was my first experience in a project like this. Drag queens are used to lipsyncing, but I&#8217;ve always had a passion for music!</em></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><em>It means a lot to me. It’s the result of passion and hard work!</em></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>What keeps you motivated?</strong></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><em>Well this is my first cover/musical release and I am eager to do more. I want to express myself through music and inspire my community. Passion is my motivation!</em></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>What can we expect next from you?</strong></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><em>I am already working on another cover. I am still trying to find “my team” of people in which I can rely on to go further. I also have a bunch of ideas for original songs. I love the pop punk vibe so I will stick to it!</em></p>
