Steam Phunk is a DJ and producer act consisting of Alexander and Sebastian. The sound is based on melodic beats crossed with deep house elements. Already in childhood the two brothers discovered that instruments produce more than just melodies, but also offer the possibility to write songs and tell stories.
The two brothers from Hamburg have been making music together since they discovered how well they complement each other in songwriting. The two brothers Alex and Sebas focus on danceable songs in their live performances and convince with their own live edits of their own or well-known songs and mash-ups.
They have already performed on stages around the globe, such as the main stage of Freshtival, and shared the stage with the biggest artists in the scene. Thanks to their catchy melodies and danceable drops, Steam Phunk has collaborated with various artists around the world and can be heard on radio stations and official Spotify playlists in several countries. Steam Phunk has already received support from some of the biggest names in the scene, including R3hab, Tiesto, Oliver Heldens and many more. As for the future, big collaborations, remixes and releases are already in the works and can’t wait to be played at upcoming gigs!
Idun Nicoline is a pop singer/ songwriter and producer from Oslo, Norway. She discovered her passion and interest for writing music and singing at an early age, however it wasn’t until at an age of 19 when she moved to Boston, USA to attend Berklee College of Music where she discovered her passion for production and recording. In 2014 Idun Nicoline attended Berklee’s five week summer program and was granted a 50% scholarship to attend the college full time. She graduated from Berklee with a degree in Music Production and Engineering in 2020.
Being a student at Berklee has given Idun Nicoline a lot of opportunities including producing a lot of artists, releasing two singles and the opportunity to record with the Grammy Award Winning recording engineer George Massenburg and producer Kevin Killen. Idun Nicoline has opened for artists such as AURORA and Julie Bergan.
Idun Nicoline has written songs in the genre of pop/folk, indie, pop/country. However her main focus at the moment is writing, producing and singing pop/ EDM music. Some of her influences are LEON, Sigrid, Chelsea Cutler, Julia Michaels & Astrid S.
Combine these artists, and you get the catchy new single “Hell & High Water” that they most recently released. The song immediately embraces us with Idun’s beautiful vocals, and the instrumental slow builds up with the stunning vocals to the catchy hook.
