Two Must-Hear Songs from Tom Feral

Rock the Pigeon is back with more Tom Feral tracks! We are enjoying going through this artists discography and introducing you to our favorite tracks!

Tom Feral’s “Wreckage” is a great introduction to his unique style. Pulsating synths open the song, sounding like an analog daydream that pulls the listener in from the very first moment. The vocals are heavily effected, so much so that they sound like synths themselves. Drums come in and out of the song in a way that feels smooth and effortless. The track builds, climaxes, and then builds and climaxes again, taking the listener on the emotional journey that follows a breakup.

“Fidget Toy” moves into experimental territory with a unique techno experience that transports your brain into solving a Rubik’s cube or any similar puzzle. The song is about a fidget toy, and it commits to that idea completely. The synth sounds shift to mimic the feeling of fiddling your fingers with a toy that keeps your brain feeling sane. Each change in texture feels like another turn of the puzzle, drawing you deeper into the focus. When the song climaxes, it gives the listener the euphoric feeling of fiddling so much that the puzzle finally solves. Along the way, you unlock some inner peace for yourself. If you are as obsessed with fidget toys as we are, “Fidget Toy” is truly the song for you.
