‘Forevermore’ Coming From

–MIDLANDS FOLK POP ARTIST TO RELEASE ALBUM IN JULY

-LEAD SINGLE AVAILIBLE TO STREAM NOW

“This is the first time I’ve ever wrote songs for my self usually its much heavier and for a band. Its nice to differ from what is the norm for me and concentrate on something a little different,” says Jonny Wood, Songwriter and musician in Cowboys & Indigals, Talking about his influences for Forevermore, “My favorite artists and bands have been passed down to me by my dad really, He’s an old folky and loves Bob Dylan, Donavan and stuff like that”

Forevermore offers a wide range of styles and influences, with the Dylan/Donavan guitar chord style mixes with catchy vocal patterns that as a listener will be singing all day- As Jonny Wood wrote and played all of the music and instrumentation in the release, he explains “Forevermore is like my baby, I knew I had a lot of time in the studio and wanted to experiment with instruments. Some of the tracks I had to cut down the instruments as I was adding for the sake of adding. Things like me stamping my feet and recordings of the wind. I know on my next release they might make it in”

Set for release in July, Wood talks about his first show as a solo artist. “It was gnarly, I mean who gets to play their first show at a sold out venue supporting someone as big as Pete Doherty. People seemed to love it. It was a huge boost for me to continue playing live”

Wood finishes: “The perks of being in a band are that you can count on others. With this I know I have to count on myself.

‘Forevermore’ will be released mid July 2014
