San Diego-based band Rally Club takes us for an adventure with their new single “Space” and we have named them band of the day for this awesome creation! Christopher John is the mastermind songwriter behind the dreamy track which was put together in his bedroom. The song is lyrically and musically strong from beginning to end. The track starts off with a surf sounding guitar and 50’s sounding vocals and then goes to a higher place during the chorus that is insanely catchy (in a really good way)! Lyrically, it’s a song that everyone can relate to and take away from. Here are the lyrics to the chorus:
so now I’m lying here awake
wondering how he got to see you in space
and my head’s angled up at the stars so I can see
but its making my neck hurt
i’m at the back of the line but you don’t seem to care
i’m just biding my time until my brain cells wear
thinking maybe that if I remember
You’ll remember
We’ll remember
We sit here waiting for more releases from Rally Club!
