With steady finger-picked guitar and a refreshing vocal is folk-artist John Muirhead with his new single “Passenger’s Side.” The song would actually fit perfectly into a musical theatre production especially with the style of Muirhead’s powerful voice. The song is also reminiscent of City & Colour’s guitar playing and Bruce Springsteen’s story-telling. The song is made complete with catchy melodies and beautiful piano lines. The Canadian singer has toured the country and was even nominated for “Young Performer of the Year” at the Canadian Folk Music Awards this past November. This new song makes it clear that John Muirhead is a natural storyteller. We know you will dig it!

Listen to the song here on Spotify:

“Passenger’s Side is about defying the feeling that maybe our best days are behind us, and the appeal and romanticism of leaving it all behind. With this song I hope that listeners know that they’re not alone in that feeling.” – John Muirhead
