Teddy and the Love Gang’s ‘Island Universe’ is tight Norwegian indie rock with a mechanized flair. “Teddy and The Love Gang is on a mission to spread love and cherish diversity,” they say. “The band has gotten national and international airplay, as well as impressive reviews and placement at some great festivals. Their journey, unlike [their ongoing multi-EP, concept work] Kid Forest’s, is only beginning to commence.” These guys have a sound reminiscent of The Strokes, but the computer-like precision with which they play sets them apart.
