‘Mary the Quiet’ by The Sleeplings Is Mysterious, Gloomy Post Rock

7 4 18 The Sleeplings.jpeg‘Mary the Quiet’ by The Sleeplings is a mysterious, gloomy take on post rock. “This song started as an experiment to break out of our traditional safe zone,” the Danish band says. Now, they say, it has become, “the perfect show closer, showering the audience in a thunderous gazer/post/psych-hybrid of DOOM.” This tune is a strong display of each individual musician’s personal skill. In a lot of ways, its largely instrumental nature gives it a distinctly cinematic vibe. Although it definitely falls into the post rock category, these guys seem to employ a wide range of different influences. This is a very eclectic, unique track. Check out ‘Mary the Quiet’ below!
