Tired All the Time’s ‘Little Pieces’ is shiny, popping alternative rock with a full-hearted punk framework. The band has been, “featured on local NPR affiliate WAMU 88.5 FM, and TATT established an exciting new partnership with Flag Day Recordings,” their PR people say. These guys have a running theme, which features heavily in this music video, that the band’s music is some kind of anti-depressant. This darkly upbeat approach to marketing is a breath of fresh air in an environment where artists are often expected to embrace their misery. The synth-heavy nature of this track and the bombastic, theatrical vocals give these guys a very eighties pop-rock feel. At the same time, the more straight-forward rock style beat and coursing bass tone the song is built on hint at some punkier influences. These guys have a really good thing going.
