The Summer Cult’s ‘Rabbit Hole’ is caustic, jumpy rock music with an unhinged, experimental take. These guys really like to jump between fuzzy, almost industrial dirges and straightforward classic rock-style bits. The contrast between these groovy, almost poppy sections and the janky unsettling portions make for a really dynamic listening experience. It’s always nice to hear a track with a sense of diversity. Although at times, a lack of uniformity can leave a song feeling unfocused, it seems like these guys are using the technique with something specific in mind. It’s certainly not the outcome of lazy writing. This is a neat track. Check out ‘Rabbit Hole’ below!
