Vazum’s ‘Wait’ Is Gritty Hard Rock with a Dark Metallic Tone

9 17 18 VazumVazum’s ‘Wait’ is gritty hard rock with a dark, almost metallic tone. “The song is about the power everyone has to choose their own reality,” this artist says. “One can ignore the things that burden them and embrace the things they love and enjoy, which involves discipline,” he continues. “Otherwise, one can find themselves dependent on the wants and needs of others.” Painted on top of a traditional rock and roll structure, this project does a great of defining a clear, yet gritty and destitute tone. On one level, there’s a grungy simplicity and pop sensibility that the track exudes, but below that there’s kind of a stoner metal desert rock vibe going. The track is definitely sad and emotionally grating, but at the same time it chugs along in a really satisfying track. This is a neat track from an up-and-coming artist. Check out ‘Wait’ below!
