Pointdexter’s ‘Even Up the Score’ Is Dramatic Alt-Rock with a Glitzy Rage

9 26 18 Pointdexter.jpeg‘Even Up the Score’ by Pointdexter is dramatic alternative rock with a glitzy-yet-blistering intensity. This tune is “about swearing revenge on someone who you used to hold close that stabbed you in the back,” the group says. “The band was founded and titled by vocalist Kevin Kinsella in 2008 and has continuously evolved ever since, pushing their music abilities to try and create a concept of musical revolution.” These guys really do have a theatrical approach and delivery – especially in regard to the vocals. Under this, they also have a an engrossing, maybe even lightly progressive vibe. Some connections could probably be drawn between the band and groups like Coheed and Cambria or Lower Definition. This is a cool track from a band on the rise. Check out ‘Even Up the Score’ below!
