Rebel Rampage’s ‘Red Star’ Is Powerful, Urgent Protest Music

11 24 18 Rebel RampageRebel Rampage’s ‘Red Star’ is groovy, clobbering hard rock featuring Angelo Moore of Fishbone. The band recently released their debut album, Divided We Fall, which they describe as, “a fiery addition to L.A.’s historic lineage of protest music, which includes, Rage Against The Machine, Kendrick Lamar, Bad Religion, Fever 333 and more.” Frontman Graham Czach describes the project as, “our reaction to the outrageous corruption and darkness that has fallen over this country and is dividing it, hence the name of the album.” These guys are bringing the protest genre back in a meaningful way. In spite of all the controversy that’s surrounded Donald Trump’s rise to power, there has been a surprising dearth of reactionary music. The group has the musical know-how and political passion to galvanize a disillusioned public. This is a powerful track from an important band. Check out ‘Red Star’ below!
