At least once a week I have an All My Friends Hate Me melody pop into my head. This pop punk band really knows how to write great hooks! On Valentine’s Day the Los Angeles-based band released their most recent music video for their song “Heartbreaker.” The music video footage covers a few days in the couples life in reverse. The video starts on the end which seems to be the breaking point of their relationship where they are in a heated argument. Moving on, the video captures some romantic moments of the couple kissing and partying with friends.

Musically this one of of All My Friends Hate Me’s slower songs. The drums fill in more towards the end. It’s compelling in its own way and definitely will serve the listener with a moment to stop and think. The song is off the All My Friends Hate Me’s debut album Metal Butterflies which came out last November.

If you’re in town for SXSW go see All My Friends Hate Me at BD Riley’s on March 20, 2020 from 1:00am — 1:40am.

Enjoy the music video on YouTube now. If you have experienced love and heartbreak, it will surely give you chills…
