His latest single “Lead Me” is the perfect soul-inspired icebreaker. The melody of “Lead Me” is led by a catchy piano riffs heavily influenced by soul sounds. CeeLo Green’s iconic vocals are perfectly balanced and almost sway with the rhythm. There are gospel style background vocals behind CeeLo adding a fuller sound to the melody. The chorus of “Lead Me” has a completely pop-soul vibe beckoning us to close our eyes and let the rhythm take us away.
