Listen to Whoa Sequoia’s Space-Themed, Rock Opera album “The Geyser Saga”

“Back to the Edge of Time” by Whoa Sequoia is captivating from the first line of the song. This psychedelic anthem features a compelling vocal melody that feels nostalgic and fresh at the same time. The chord changes and transitions between sections are bold and exciting, including major to minor key changes. The transitions spark even more emotion in the delivery. The melody stays catchy throughout the entire song. Fitting in with the classic rock era of music, Whoa Sequoia’s song features stunning guitar riffs throughout and a grand solo towards the end of the song.

Whoa Sequoia is the moniker of Denver, CO guitarist and producer Brandon S Meyer. You can find out more about Brandon Meyer here: http://www.brandonscottmeyer.com. He says that “Back to the Edge of Time” is the first song from his space-rock-opera concept album album titled “The Geyser Saga.”  Brandon wrote and recorded all of the album’s tracks at his home studio in the first months of the COVID-19 quarantine in 2020. The album also came out last year. He is currently working on a new album of music.

Brandon says “‘The Geyser Saga’ is about a future apocalypse/alien invasion, in which a man mistakenly finds himself shipped alone off to far away planet. Some of the quarantine themes of isolation and confusion definitely inspired the overall story.”
