I started to write the song a couple of times and at first, the song felt too light and optimistic, but over time, I realised I actually had become more isolated. I had stopped live streaming, and life was ‘back to normal’ but I hadn&#8217;t managed to reconnect with that pre-lockdown social life still, even after a couple of years. The writing of the song evolved into something much more honest—about feeling lost, trying to reach out.
